Sanitation Services

For over 30 years, our missionhas been to create a clean, safe and vibrant corridor in Washington Heights.

Keeping our district clean is our number one priority!

​

Since 2011, the WHBID has contracted with Street Plus to provide supplemental sanitation services throghout the year.

​

The sanitation crew works 7 days per week coverting the period of 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with longer hours during the Summer months.

  • Cleaning and sweeping sidewalks

  • Emptying garbage containers

  • Removing graffiti

  • Shveling snow and ice from crosswalks

  • Power washing sidewalks
